Other’s SS18 collection entitled ‘Vacant’ is a conceptual collection referencing an ex-servicemen’s struggle to escape his past. Although no longer in the forces, he finds himself still serving in the lonely battle within his mind. A search for distraction ensues and he finds himself stumbling through the frivolous pleasures of Las Vegas, a temporary fix for the vacant mind.

This concept is a fictional reference to a problem often seen in today’s society, the troubling lack of self satisfaction compensated with temporary happiness like social media appraisal and materialistic things.
