Motörhead Ace of Spades “Ace Up Your Sleeve” Tour Tank lands as part of our Rock Archive series. The original Ace of Spades artwork dominates the chest, framed by the classic Motörhead logo and curved tour text beneath. High-contrast white print sits sharply against a washed blonde ground, with deliberate cracking and fade that mirrors the energy of a worn 80s tour original.

Recut into a raw edge tank, the sleeves are cut away and left unfinished, exposing a sharper shoulder line and open arm shape. The body runs straight with a relaxed vintage proportion, structured through the chest and clean through the waist. It carries that sun-faded festival tension, altered by hand and built for heat, movement and stage glare.

Crafted from heavyweight cotton and washed to a worn blonde tone, the surface shows depth, abrasion and authentic distressing throughout. Small tears and worn edges add texture while keeping the graphic dominant. The artwork is hand screen printed in the UK using vintage-weight inks designed to crack and age with wear.

ARCHIVE PROCESS

Each Archive piece begins with research and reconstruction. Lost artworks are painstakingly re-created by hand from original references, then redrawn for screen print. Each garment is hand screen-printed in our UK studio using vintage-correct, custom-formulated plastisol inks. Every print is pulled by hand. No automation. No digital shortcuts. Each piece is finished individually and hand aged to break in the fabric and print naturally. Distressing is applied selectively, preserving variation rather than correcting it. Production is strictly limited. Every garment is unique.
